The Lower Silesian Science Festival (LSSF) is a popular science event organizsed every year in September in Wroclaw (Wrocław edition) and in October (regional edition) by all the public universities of Wroclaw, two institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and non-academic circles. The LSSF addresses everyone interested in science, technology, culture, and art. It is like a big “educational pill” containing interesting lectures, research workshops, visits to normally inaccessible laboratories, discussions, and meetings with scientists, doctors, engineers, humanists, and artists. Admission to all events is free. The Office of the Lower Silesian Science Festival (LSSF Office) is an interuniversity unit established by the Collegium of Rectors of Wroclaw and Opole Universities to provide administrative and financial support for all the Festival organisers. The LSSF Office is located at the University of Wroclaw.
